Body Composition Analysis

During the 2007-2008 year, the average NBA player had a BMI of 25.5 or, in other words, was overweight. Insane, right? That’s why we don’t focus on BMI at VRC. All Victory Rejuvenation Center patients will receive a Body Composition Analysis from Biospace’s Inbody520. VRC chooses Body Composition Analysis over plain BMI because weight alone is an insufficient indicator of health. The numbers we see on the scale do not tell us how many pounds are fat and how many are lean body mass. Muscle is denser than fat, so a lean, muscular person can weigh more than someone with a higher amount of body fat. Percent Body Fat, rather than weight, is an effective means of assessing degrees of fitness.

Body Composition Testing involves standing on the InBody’s footplates and holding the handgrips. By regularly monitoring your Body Fat, Muscle Mass, and Muscular Development, we can understand how your diet, lifestyle, and exercise regimen are influencing your body composition and health. The InBody tells us which routines are working and which are not, allowing us to fine-tune your specialized health optimization regimen for maximum effectiveness.

The InBody Analysis communicates:

  • Body Mass Index (BMI)
  • Body Fat Percent
  • Waist-Hip Ratio (WHR)
  • Total Body Water
  • Body Fat Mass
  • Skeletal Muscle Mass
  • Body Composition History
  • Target Weight
  • Weight Control
  • Fat Control
  • Muscle Control
  • Fitness Score

We will thoroughly review your results and establish a plan of action that enables you to reach your goals of optimum health, optimum wellness. VRC recognizes that it will require discipline and focus to achieve the optimum weight for your physiological structure, but we assure you that with Victory Rejuvenation Center behind you, optimizing your weight will never be easier.
