Life Length’s Telomere Test is a window to your aging process at the cellular level. This advanced test measures the length of your telomeres. Several studies have established a direct correlation between telomere length and the aging process.
Telomeres: Health’s Ticking Clock
Telomeres are sections of genetic material at the end of each chromosome whose primary function is to prevent chromosomal “fraying” when a cell replicates. Every time a cell divides, the DNA strand splits, and the telomere ends capping the chromosomes shorten. As a cell ages, its telomeres become shorter. Eventually, the telomeres become too short to allow cell replication so the cell stops dividing and dies; this is a normal biological process. We can compare telomeres to shoelaces, which inevitably lose their plastic caps and become frayed after much weathering. When the plastic caps of shoelaces wear down, the shoelaces are no longer useful. But unlike shoelaces, we can’t buy new pairs of telomeres!
Telomere Length: The Key to Healthy Aging
Lifestyle, nutrition, stress, heredity, and environmental factors influence telomere length and our rate of aging. Measuring critically short telomeres and juxtaposing our biological age (as communicated through telomere testing) and our chronological age encourages us to make healthy life decisions that will enrich our wellness.
TA-65 Supplement: Lengthen Your Telomeres, Lengthen Your Healthspan
The desire to live a long life is really a desire to live a long, healthy life. No one wants to live to be 100 if it means spending the last two decades of life bedridden. How we live now determines the quality of our lives down the road.TA-65 enhances the human healthspan – the number of healthy, energetic years. TA-65 leverages Nobel Prize-winning research to activate telomerase and turn back the hands of your biological clock. Telomerase is an enzyme made of protein and RNA subunits that lengthens chromosomes by attaching DNA sequences to the ends of existing chromosomes. Once telomerase is activated in a cell, the cell continues to grow and divide without chromosomal fraying. TA-65 can literally turn back the hands of your biological clock and lengthen your healthspan.
TA-65 is clinically proven to (via stimulating the telomerase enzyme):
- Lengthen short telomeres
- Strengthen cognitive function
- Support the immune system
- Maintain healthy bone density
Nobel Prize Winners reveal the Telomere-Aging Connection: Genetic scientists won the Nobel Prize in Medicine in 2009 for research on telomeres and telomerase. Their findings have revolutionized the medical community’s understanding of aging. To date, over 8,000 published studies confirm that longer telomeres are associated with longer healthspan.
LIFE LENGTH’s Telomere Test will determine the length of your telomeres in relation to your age. Serial evaluation of telomere length is an indicator of the speed of the aging process relative to the average population. Therapies that slow the loss of telomere length may slow aging and age-related diseases.
